Ed Chabal: Standing with Rural Iowa

Ed Chabal was raised on a farm and is a husband, father and public education professional who is running for the lowa Senate to make lowa first in the nation in public education and bring opportunity back to rural lowa.

Growing up in Southeast lowa, Ed knows the value of a good public education. As the Director of Finance for a local school district, Ed is for a fully-funded public school system that allows every student to have the opportunity to succeed. He will also fight to protect our state's Area Education Agencies from government overreach.

Ed loves the small-town feel that our area offers. As a native of rural lowa, Ed is for a robust economy that welcomes businesses to rural lowa to ensure that our communities continue to thrive with job opportunities that allow families to live well and work successfully in lowa.

Ed believes every lowan deserves the right to have the freedom to make decisions without interference from politicians in Des Moines. That's why, as your Senator, Ed will work to protect women's reproductive freedoms and allow all lowans to decide how they want to live their lives.
